Minds Journey Counselling

Navigating Life's Challenges, Together

About
Welcome to Minds Journey Counselling! I run a dedicated counselling service, qualified and MBACP registered, I am passionate about guiding individuals through their unique mental health and emotional journeys. I have experience supporting adults and young people that are experiencing ADHD, Autism, LGBTQ+, anxiety, depression, family conflicts, trauma, abuse, and grief and loss. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgement. Counselling can feel like a scary place, the fear of opening up deep wounds can leave us feeling vulnerable. Taking the first step takes courage!
My core approach is Person-Centred counselling, as I feel that you can reach your potential through making decisions based on your own understanding of the self. This is facilitated by me listening to you and allowing you the space to explore your feelings and make sense of what is going on for you. I am here to sit alongside what feelings you bring to the session, and to understand your experiencing and how this is impacting you. For me to get a good understanding of what is going on for you, it is important for you to be allowed to bring your wholeself to the session and for you to feel comfortable in doing so.
I can bring in other approaches to assist in the therapeutic process. This is shaped by our shared understanding of the issues you are facing and how this will support you moving into the direction that you wish.

We are all on our unique journey, the landscape and terrain can be challenging but somehow we rise.

We are all on our unique journey, the landscape and terrain can be challenging but somehow we rise.

Everyone of us is guiding ourselves along a pathway to enlightenment. We will encounter disturbances and battles along the way. If we can move through accepting the journey then a sense of ease can be felt and the challenges feel easier to manage.
